We really enjoyed dinner with friends there last night. Food and service were good. My shrimp scampi was good and my wife enjoyed the eggplant Parmesan. We will return to this hidden gem.

Coming from out of town and just using yelp to find a steak house I was worried. The parking lot was not so full. Walked and was greeted promptly. Waiter was friendly and helpful on the menu. Went with the 14 oz new York and my wife had the filet. This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The flavor and tenderness of the meat was amazing. The double baked mashed potatoes were also another plus! This place is just amazing. Hats off the the chef.

Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to ask about the specials.

I honestly just love this place! I don't eat out "frequently " anymore- but when I do this is where I like to come. Fresh food, fabulous service, great customer satisfaction ratio, delicious food that I don't mind paying listed amount for (because it's so good and so ample). This restaurant does it all well. What a surprise at sugar land has such hidden gems ! The food is delicious and well executed fresh the service is good the restaurant is clean and well designed! Nice place to have good food !

I visited here for dinner after hearing great things about the restaurant. It was busy too, even for a weekday, which usually means 1 of 2 things for a small restaurant, it's either the only restaurant in the area, or it's actually good. In this case, it's actually good. I had the hangar steak since I always love ordering it when I see it on a menu. Great steak and definitely a nice price point. I would say this place is good for taking family, friends and even clients. It wouldn't be my first choice for date night since it's kind of loud inside once the dining room starts filling up. Service is great though, which you would expect for a place like this.

There is none like Alex's Kitchen. Great menu selection, a variety of delicious dishes for everyone. Give them a try! Wonderful staff and great atmosphere!

This is a great place for delicious meal without high prices. Alex's Kitchen is advertised as Italian And New American but the menu slants strongly towards American than Italian. Certainly, not a complaint because the food is great and the offerings should cover the eating desires of any group. I had the grilled Red Snapper which had a nice flaky texture and not dry. The server was very friendly and willing to help maneuver around dietary concerns. The restaurant is relatively small so peak dining hour may require some advance planning. Parking is not a problem since it's located in shop center and the parking lot is well lit. Alex's Kitchen is now on my "repeat list".

I came here for a easy Saturday lunch and i realty like this place. Thy do have plenty nice selection of food in their menu. The service was very good. Our nice server told us it could get really busy at night time. So if you don't like big crowds, lunch is a better idea. I had ordered fried calamari, clam chowder which I love it. The chicken piccata was pretty good as well. Too bad I don't have room for the desert. Will have to come back to try the desert next time.
